Main Partners of Customs (MITA Kepabean) are importers or exporters who are provided with special services in the customs sector. Customs MITA is determined directly by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) with an appointment mechanism based on the company profile and recommendations from internal and external sides. This means that the Customs MITA is determined directly by the DJBC without going through the request of the importer/company. Due to the special services that the company gets, Tanjung Perak Customs and Excise conducts monitoring to maintain several criteria that are the requirements of the MITA company on 24 to 25 May 2022. The monitoring is the implementation of the Minister of Finance Regulation PMK-211/PMK.04/2016 concerning Customs Main Partners and Director General Regulation PER-11/BC2017 concerning Implementation Guidelines for Customs Main Partners.

On this occasion, Tanjung Perak Customs and Excise conducted Monitoring and Field Research on PT. Malindo Feedmill, Tbk Plant Gresik as one of the Main Customs Partners under Tanjung Perak Customs. Silver Customs and Excise assigned Iman Hakiki (First Functional Expert), and Dimas Adi Nugroho (Executive Examiner), to test several criteria, including testing the internal control system related to recording import and export activities, testing existence and the person in charge, and testing documents customs by sampling. With this activity, it is hoped that the MITA company can maintain high standards as an entity that is provided with special services and comply with the provisions as required in PMK-211/PMK.04/2016 concerning Customs Main Partners and Director General Regulation PER-11/BC2017 concerning Implementation Guidelines for Main Partners Customs.
