PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk through its subsidiary, PT Malindo Food Delight, made the first export of SunnyGold to Japan. This first export to Japan consists of SunnyGold Nugget, SunnyGold Tempura, SunnyGold Karage Black Pepper and SunnyGold Chicken Spicy Karage with a total of 6 tons.

This event was held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the PT Malindo Food Delight Factory in Cikarang, West Java. The SunnyGold export event which made it to the Japanese market was released directly by the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. H. Syahrul Yasin Limpo who was accompanied by the Director General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, Dr. Ir. Nasrullah, M.Sc, Director General of Agro Industry, Abdul Rochim as well as other Directors General and directors from several ministries. Director of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk Lau Joo Hwa, Lau Joo Keat, Rewin Hanrahan and Lau Joo Kiang also attended this event.

“We appreciate PT Malindo Food Delight for being able to see opportunities in the global business world by producing products that can penetrate the export market,” said Syahrul.

Syahrul said that the export of processed meat to Japan is proof that the Indonesian processed chicken industry is very advanced so that it is able to penetrate the Japanese market, which is known for its very difficult procedures and conditions. 

“We have good livestock yields, we have a high quality industry and we have trials in selective countries. Japan is known for its very difficult procedures and conditions. If Japan can penetrate, let alone other countries, “said Syahrul.
