The province of East Nusa Tenggara is one of the provinces that producing livestock especially cattle. However, for the others livestock animals such as pig and chicken, East Nusa Tenggara still lacks of the supply. The Government has been reacted to increased livestock productivity by providing a technology and innovation to the people in order to change their mind, raising a livestock is not only became a side income but became one of the main income.

According to Ir. Danny Suhadi as a Head of Animal Husbandary Department of East Nusa Tenggara Province, during the meeting with PT Malindo Feedmill, Tbk (8/23). Government also supported private action to developed livestock, such as Malindo which began to expanded its pig feed market to East Nusa Tenggara. The support by technology transfer and technical accompaniment are very helpful for the people of East Nusa Tenggara.

On this occasion, Rewin Hanrahan as a Director of PT Malindo Feedmill, Tbk conveyed that all various Malindo activity in East Nusa Tenggara including “Malindo Gempur Sumba“ Roadshow which means Build Farming Movement for People of Sumba which held in East Sumba District, Central Sumba District, West Sumba District, and marketing pig feed workshop at Kupang.

The pig feed marketing workshop was collaborated with SNV and was attended by Malindo pig feed customer and the agents. Agustinus, one of the Malindo customer said that he had proven Malindo pig feed gave a very significant result. Pig grown became so fast, even only six months to raise, they are already to sell.
