Malindo Feedmill Realizes Frozen Chicken Exports to Singapore

PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk realized the export of frozen whole chicken to Singapore. The first delivery of frozen chicken was carried out at the PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk Poultry Slaughterhouse (RPHU) in Cijunti Village, Campaka District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, Friday 8 December 2023. Simultaneously with the export of frozen chicken, further exports of processed Malindo Food Delight products were also carried out to Singapore.

Present on this occasion were the Directors of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk, Rewin Hanrahan, Hilda Wibowo and Aldrin Rungkat as well as the local Livestock Service and Tanjung Priok Agricultural Quarantine.

Rewin Hanrahan said on this occasion that at the end of 2023, Malindo had succeeded in exporting frozen chicken to Singapore. “We all know that this is not easy. The requirements requested by the Singapore Government, in this case the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), are very strict. “The product being exported must come from a farm that already has a compartment certificate that is free from Avian Influenza and has not been detected to contain any viruses or bacteria, such as Salmonella,” said Rewin.

“I appreciate the hard work of all the Malindo team, both from the farm and RPHU, which succeeded in realizing the export of frozen chicken to Singapore. I also congratulate the PT Malindo Food Delight processing factory which continues to have repeat orders from buyers in Singapore. “Hopefully in the future we will carry out more exports and continue to improve the quality and variety of products with innovation and technology,” he said.

The types of products exported to Singapore from RPHU Malindo are 1 container of frozen chicken and 1 container of processed products from PT Malindo Food Delight with a value of around USD 65,000.

Apart from that, Rewin Hanrahan targets that in early 2024 it will re-export frozen chicken and processed products to Singapore and processed products to Japan. Apart from that, it is hoped that exports of processed products to the United Arab Emirates can also be realized.

On behalf of Malindo, Rewin expressed his thanks to the local Livestock Service and the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health who continue to support and encourage Malindo to achieve sustainable exports. This is of course in line with the Government’s program to increase the number of export destination countries and increase export volume.
