Absorp Local Corn, Malindo Build New Silo and Corn Dryer Machine

PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk, an agribusiness company which running its business in animal feed production, breeding, and food processing will build a new silo with capacity 50.000 tons and corn dryer at Makassar, Grobogan, Gresik, and Lampung with total drying capacity 2000 tons per day. It is submitted by Rewin Hanrahan, Director of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk in occasion of commemorates its 11th anniversary of its listing on the IDX, Tuesday, February 14th 2017.  Rewin said that new development of silo and corn dryer actually to respond the government advice to all of feed manufacturer to absorb local corn production as much as they can. “So, we set up a new silo in order to save a local corn with a bigger capacity, especially to anticipate a harvest season,” he explained. Rewin said that the construction of corn dryer at Makassar Factory is done, and for the silo’s construction will be finish around 3 months to go, and at the same time the construction of corn dryer at grobogan factory will finish on February 2017. Furthermore, silo and corn dryer construction will conduct at Malindo factory at Gresik and Lampung, and hopefully the construction will complete all at least next year. Meanwhile at the same time, Rudy Hartono, Director of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk said that in 2017, Malindo more optimistic to company’s business performance will getting better than 2016. In 2016, Malindo recorded a fairly good earnings compared than last year, it is driven by a more stable economic situation and government support, especially in livestock industry. “ We targeting in sales growth around 10-15% in 2017,” he said.
